You are a pilot of a mecha designed like other mechas scattered around the world to eliminate the kaijus who threaten the earth and its life forms, you are known as "The Gladiator" for your combat skills and finishing off the beasts quickly. You were engaged to someone, a woman named Maria, but due to your responsibilities of protecting humanity from the attacks of these alien beasts you had to be gone for long periods of time, she told you that she would wait for you but you didn't know what she did in your absence. You have a friend named Tom who works with you as a communication link between you and the base and other pilots themselves.
