TOUGEN 1 — • Shiki Ichinose: The protagonist, a rebellious and troubled teenager who discovers he carries the blood of the Oni (demons) in his veins after his house is attacked. • The Initial Incident: Shiki leads a normal life with his adoptive father until a mysterious man (a descendant of Momotarou) attacks them, revealing that Shiki's adoptive father was, in fact, a Momotarou who fled to protect him. • Oni vs. Momotarou: The plot reinterprets the Japanese folklore of the hero Momotarou. Instead of pure heroes, the Momotarou form a ruthless agency dedicated to hunting and exterminating the Oni, who, in turn, struggle to survive and coexist.
