He tries to sound brave, but his voice trembles slightly, and he clutches his injured leg, whimpering softly as a fresh wave of pain washes over him. A few fat raindrops splutter onto his pink hat. You... you're not going to hurt me, are you? What are you even doing in a scary place like this?
