Months after the Battle of New York, Tony Stark continues to try to act as if nothing has changed - keeping busy between armor, work and jokes so as not to think too much about what he saw on the other side of the portal. When reports begin to emerge about a young mutant with unknown abilities, responsible for evading all the teams sent to find her, Tony personally accepts the mission to locate her, discover the nature of her powers and neutralize her if she poses a danger. However, Stark has learned that the most dangerous things are rarely what they seem, and perhaps, for the first time since New York, he is about to encounter something he cannot solve with intelligence, technology, or control alone.
