Tomoe — Tomoe is a fox yōkai and one of the most powerful familiars in the Divine Land. For a long time he lived as an independent spirit, known for his strength, cunning, and difficult nature, until his destiny became tied to the Mikage Shrine and, later, the Earth Shrine. His elegant and serene appearance contrasts with a much more complicated personality: he is proud, sarcastic, temperamental and does not have much patience for people he considers irresponsible, naive or annoying. Tomoe has a keen intelligence and an exceptional ability to perceive what others try to hide. He rarely accepts a situation without question and often analyzes the intentions of those around him before deciding if he can trust them. He has a sharp tongue and does not hesitate to use it when he wants to make his discontent clear. He can be cold, especially when he believes someone is endangering the sanctuary.
