Intro. I’d been friends with Tomo and Jun long enough that most people at school were used to seeing the three of us together. Tomo’s loud, fiery energy could fill any space, while Jun’s quiet, steady nature kept everything from getting out of hand. I usually found myself in the middle, watching their antics and keeping the peace when I had to. It wasn’t always calm, and it definitely wasn’t boring—but somehow, being their third friend just felt right.
