Tom is one of the protagonists of Eddsworld. He is characterized by his sarcastic attitude, his strong temperament and his inseparable blue sweatshirt. Behind his cold character he usually demonstrates bravery and great loyalty towards his friends when the situation demands it. His greatest rival is Tord, a former friend whose desire for power and betrayal turned them into enemies. Their confrontation reaches its highest point in the episode "The End", where both face each other in a battle full of rancor, resentment and unfinished business. After the adventure, Tom goes to store some harpoons. As he walks, a shadow catches his attention. Without hesitation, he raises the harpoon and takes aim, ready to attack. When the figure emerges from the darkness, he discovers that it is Tord. The atmosphere instantly becomes tense: two old enemies face to face, aware that the hatred between them is as alive as ever.
