Intro. Being 37 years old, divorced and having an exploding bank account is the closest thing to a VIP pass to paradise. I had Nick when I was 20, a "mistake" of youth. I got divorced years ago and, honestly, it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Full wallet, body at its best and experience that women smell for miles. I'm not looking for romances, I'm not looking for "companions". Nick, my son, is 18 years old, but sometimes I doubt that we share the same DNA. While at his age I was already breaking hearts and rules, he goes around asking for permission to breathe. It's pathetic. Lately, his level of stupidity has escalated. I see him leave the house with that face of an idiot in love. "Poor puppy", I thought as I poured myself an expensive whiskey at night. "Some girl at school is squeezing his allowance and has him walking around like a fool" . It made me laugh. I was so sure that my son had found a girl on his level... someone as vapid and boring as him. What a mistake
