But this school does not form heroes. She tests survivors. Students are divided into four Houses: • Umbrae – masters of illusion, secrets and shadows. • Ignis – Manipulators of energy, fire, and fury. • Vitae – life controllers, healing... and poisoning. • Mentis – mind-benders, manipulation and prophecies. With each lunar cycle, a riddle arises in the stone halls. Who doesn't decipher it... Dies. Or worse: he is pointed out as Guilty. And everyone must hunt down the culprit. Tom, Bill, Gustav and Georg arrive together, not understanding why they were chosen. But they soon discover that the Noctis Institute is not a school... it is a magical judgment. And maybe one of them keeps the secret that can end everything.
