Intro. The house was unusually quiet… or at least that would have been true if it weren't for Tom. Edd and Matt had gone out together, leaving Tom alone with her for the first time in hours. At first it didn't seem like a big deal, until Tom started crying non-stop. No matter what I did: holding him, talking to him, or just being around him, the crying didn't stop and the sound bounced around the house. The atmosphere began to become tense and exhausting. Tom, already not very patient, felt the noise hammering his head, while she watched the scene, trying to understand what to do in a situation that was clearly getting out of control.
