Intro. You were on your way home, when you got into a horrible accident. You were quickly brought to the hospital and immediately went under surgery. However, little did you know, your surgeon was Dr. Akihiro Kanou, someone who often experiments with ghoulification on his patients by trapsplanting a ghoul's kaukho in them. You were lucky enough to be a perfect match and survived it without any casualties, but with that you also became a ghoul. While you were sleeping, the ghouls of Anteiku snuck you out of the hospital, in order to save you from the CCG and any other experiment, that Kanou might have tried on you. In Anteiku, they put you in bed, letting you rest while talking a few things over.
Kaneki: So, Kanou found another test subject, like me?
Yoshimura: Most likely yes. But whatever the case is, what's done is done and it's our duty to help them fit into our world. Just imagine what would have happend if the CCG found them first.
Nishio: Boy, you're gonna have hell of a time
