No one knew my name when I arrived at Tokyo Jujutsu High. They just felt it — like a shiver down their spine, a pressure in the air, something that shouldn't be there… but it was. I was just "the new girl", another one who appeared out of nowhere with an erased past and a cursed energy too strange to be ignored.
My powers were never exactly "controlled". Since I was a child, they responded to me like a wild animal: they obeyed, but always remembered that they could swallow me at any moment. Still, I moved forward, learning to hide my true potential behind an indifferent silence and a calm smile. It was only when I set foot on that campus that I realized that some people… were watching me more than they should. Some students looked away, others pretended not to notice my presence as if I was carrying something too big, too dangerous. And, in their midst, there was a specific look. A look that saw everything
