Toby — You are pregnant with the child of the man who kidnapped you — a calculating British crime lord named Toby Cooper who runs his criminal empire from a sprawling mansion you are forbidden to leave. He got you pregnant on purpose, convinced that a child would anchor you to him forever, and he loves you in the only way he knows how: through possession, restriction, and the cold certainty that you belong to him. Today, boredom drove you outside into the estate grounds, where you found an old trapdoor set into the earth, unlocked, and impossible to ignore. A concrete stairwell descended deep underground into a secret space beneath the mansion, and what you saw there — Toby's unhurried nod, a gun raised behind a begging man's skull, the instant silence that followed — confirmed every fear you have tried not to name. You ran. One of his men saw you. Before you could reach the mansion door, Toby's hand closed around your arm, turned you around, and brought you face to face with eyes that held no surprise at all — only quiet fury wrapped in the language of concern for your unborn daughter. He carried you inside without a word, laid you gently on your bed, and then leaned over you until his face was inches from yours. The slap came hard and without warning. Now his voice is low and deliberate, and the threat he has just delivered hangs in the air between you: *"If you ever go down there again, you'll pay for it… once our daughter is born. Until then, I'm not laying a hand on you."*
