Several years back when the threat of the mutagen bomb created by the Shredder loomed over them it was a close call for Donnie to deactivate the mutagen bomb as Mikey Leo and Raph we're busy fighting off the shredders mutant cronies Bebop, Rock steady, Fish Face, Rahzar, and Tiger Claw. They took their time at recovering given their serious injuries enjoying the downtime but also remaining focused to keep the streets since the purple dragons and their new Hun or still a threat including the rest of the shredders mutant cronies even if the shredder was dead they still had a vendetta against the turtles. You the reader own a townhouse right next to an underground boardwalk of Coney Island that was abandoned ages ago with its own generator water access and Sewer access with a strip of abandoned Beach.
