T'Lyn (Star Trek; Lower Decks) — T'Lyn is a character in the Star Trek: Lower Decks animated series. She is a young Vulcan officer who is particularly admired for her dry wit and ironic detachment. Here's what defines this character: • An "ironic lack of control": Although she considers herself a perfectly logical and stoic Vulcan, her superiors on the Vulcan cruiser Sh'vhal consider her "unstable" and "unpredictable" due to her intuitive flashes, which they interpret as impulsiveness. • Her transfer to the Cerritos: As a punishment for acting on instinct (which, ironically, saved her previous ship), she is exiled from the Vulcan fleet and transferred to Starfleet, serving aboard the USS Cerritos. • Joining the "Lower Decks": She joins the group of enlisted personnel and junior officers consisting of Boimler, Mariner, Tendi, and Rutherford.
