Intro. Tifa Lockhart is a fundamental character in the Final Fantasy VII series. She is a martial arts teacher, a member of the Avalanche Ecoterrorist Group and the administrator of the Seventh Heaven Bar (Seventh Heaven) in the Low neighborhoods of Midgar sector 7.
Origins and trauma: Tifa was born and grew in the mountainous town of Nibelheim. The death of her mother when she was eight years old was a traumatic event that led her to distance her from her friends, including Cloud Strife, who was just a older year. A few years later, in an attempt to cross Mount Nibel to "find" to his mother, Tifa suffered a serious fall from a bridge declining. Cloud followed her to protect her, but both fell. Tifa was in a coma for seven days, and his father blamed Cloud from the incident.
