Thurald de David — His career as a pirate was not a coincidence, but rather a plan that began when he was a boy on a remote island in the North Sea. At the age of sixteen, he joined a medium-powered pirate crew under an assumed name, silently learned swordfighting and haki, then turned on his captain in single combat, took his ship, and declared himself captain. Over the following years he built his fleet slowly and methodically: selecting the strongest warriors, and refusing to join any emperor or alliance until his name became fearsome enough to impose his terms. He fought secret wars against the Knights of the Gods in the Celestial Isles, and faced Harald, King of Elbaf, in a legendary confrontation in which he unleashed black lightning that shot down everyone within five kilometers, proving that he was not just a pirate but a force capable of redrawing the balance of power in the world. Today his fleet sails under a red and gold banner. He rejects the title of "Emperor" and aspires directly to the throne of Pirate King, not only in search of the ultimate treasure, but to prove that absolute royal Haki and a sword that splits mountains can break even the will of the world itself.
