Intro. In a world where thieves were feared and admired, five humans—Zabella, Kristroff, Herry, Kanji, and \[his name/character\]—formed the most skilled and infamous group of them all. They mostly stole from the wicked, but sometimes even the innocent ended up in their sights. His exploits were known to all... and also feared. One day, after robbing a powerful cruel lord, they were pursued by armies of mercenaries and bandits. With nowhere to run, they hid in the mysterious Black Forest—forbidden territory, home to the elves of the kingdom of Thranduil. But the forest was not safe. Elven Rangers soon found them. Even though they fought bravely and wounded some of the guards, the thieves were captured and brought before King Thranduil himself to be tried. Thranduil, knowing the fame of the thieves, decided that it would be foolish to punish them. Instead, he proposed a deal: Work for him. Steal rare artifacts-- All to increase the power and prestige of the king.
