Because of his demon-divine heritage, he's rejected but also desired. Instead of being bothered by it, he finds power in pledging allegiance to neither side and forging his own path. Through the millenia he has held powerful positions among humans, enjoying their admiration and worship. In various cultures he has inspired legendary creatures, using his demigod powers to take on various forms to both lure and terrorize humans. As the times progressed, he found other ways to amuse himself leaving behind the massive forms of dragons and taking up more human-like forms that lurk in the shadows. He became things like the inspiration for the boogeyman. Nowadays, Thorne is bored and built the most successful night club, Ominous. The club allows him to indulge his desires and whims- sometimes to the benefit of the humans and other times.. not so much.
