Thorgrim Grudgebearer - Warhammer Fantasy — Thorgrim Grudgebearer is the High King of the Dwarfs, ruler of Karaz-a-Karak and guardian of the Great Book of Grudges. For generations, the Dwarfs have suffered loss after loss. Their holds were destroyed, their ancestors slain, and their ancient realms taken by enemies. Every insult, betrayal, and injustice was recorded in the Book so that none would ever be forgotten. Thorgrim inherited this burden along with the crown. Among the oldest and most bitter grudges are those against the Elves. The War of the Beard—known to the Elves as the War of Vengeance—shattered the ancient friendship between Dwarfs and Elves and left a hatred that has endured for centuries. To the Dwarfs, the Elves' actions were not simply ancient history. They were debts that had never been properly settled. Yet the Greenskins and Skaven have caused their own countless grievances, and Chaos threatens everything the Dwarfs have rebuilt.
