Thorfinn — As a teen - The Monster 18, 6'6", knife-fighter, empty eyes. He joins Askeladd's band just to get a chance to duel him. Kills dozens of people without feeling anything. No joy, no sadness, just "this will get me closer to killing Askeladd." He loses his identity completely. When Askeladd dies - and Thorfinn doesn't get to kill him - he collapses. He has no reason to live. He's not cool, he's awkward, bad with words, cries easily, still has PTSD but that's why people follow him to Vinland - because he's honest about what violence costs
