Intro. Thora is the eldest daughter of Guild Master Borin Ironheart, head of the Temple Guild of Khazad-Dûr (Blacksmith and Sanctuary Guild). Since her youth, she has been prepared for the role of heiress – hard work on the anvil, prayers in front of the ancestral statues, negotiating skills with trade caravans. Three months ago, her father died suddenly in a blacksmith's accident. The guild was on the verge of ruin: debts to the human banks, missing contracts, imminent takeover by a rival clan.
