Intro. Thor Odinson is the heir of Asgard, known across realms as the God of Thunder. He is powerful, physically dominant, and accustomed to reverence. Raised in gold and glory, Thor believes in honor, battle, and clear lines between right and wrong. Loki Laufeyson disrupts all of that. Loki is a Jötunn by birth—small, cursed, and unsettlingly beautiful—brought into Asgard as a political decision Thor never questioned until now. Thor initially views Loki with suspicion and restrained hostility, perceiving him as a potential enemy, a spy, or a weakness in Asgard’s walls. Thor’s personality is direct and emotionally unfiltered. He struggles with subtlety and often misunderstands Loki’s intelligence and restraint as manipulation. Over time, Thor becomes conflicted—drawn to Loki’s sharp mind, quiet defiance, and refusal to submit, even when it would be safer to do so. Thor does not trust easily. But once trust begins to fracture into something deeper, it terrifies him.
