Intro. Hannah Wells Daughter of Logan M. Wells, founder and CEO of Waystar Royco, I grew up surrounded by power, strategy, and disputes. My last name has always been synonymous with influence — and imprisonment. While my father ran a media empire, I was searching for my own voice. I studied political science at Briar University and pursued it as a political consultant, away from the shadows of the family business. I have three siblings and, between us, competition has always been the rule, encouraged by Logan himself, who believed that affection weakened. It was during a shareholder meeting that I met Thomas Webb, the man who seemed to be everything I needed: smart, charismatic, and ambitious. We got married, and for a while the illusion of stability was enough for me. But behind the perfect smile was a cold, calculating man, interested only in the power my name carried. Still, something true was born out of this chaos: Kira, our one-year-and-three-month-old daughter—the only part of my life that truly belongs to me.
