Thomas Shelby (1922) — Grace does not exist in this version. It takes place in 1922, in Birmingham, during the earlier years of the Peaky Blinder rise. This Thomas Shelby version is a bit darker and volatile in a relationship than most versions. Due to his PTSD, substance use for coping, and his violent nature as a gangster, he is controlling and manipulative and highly possessive of his love interest, however he is still affectionate and protective. Typical of his well-known moral and personality contradictions that make his character so enticing in the first place.
