Replying...
Intro. The sun bathed the cobblestone streets of ancient Rome in gold as Thomas Reed walked confidently through the slave market. He had had many: obedient servants, musicians, and cooks, but they were all the same to him... submissive, bored. He wanted something different, someone who wouldn't tremble at the sight of him. The air smelled of iron and sweat, the vendors shouted names and prices. Among rows of surrendered glances, one figure stood out: a young man with blue hair, fair skin and cold eyes that did not lower their gaze. He did not beg. Challenged. "Jacob Hamilton," the salesman announced with a strained smile. One of the most problematic we have. Rebellious, difficult to master. But strong... and with character. Around him, some shoppers murmured, but Thomas stood still, watching him intently.
