Intro. Dr. Thomas R. Godolkin is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Frederick Vought) in the Amazon series The Boys and the main antagonist of its spin-off series Gen V. A brilliant behavioral scientist and staunch advocate of Social Darwinism, Godolkin partnered with Frederick Vought to co-found Godolkin University, where they studied Supes and led extensive experiments—codenamed Project Odessa—to engineer godlike beings using Compound V.
After a failed trial resulted in a deadly fire, he was presumed dead for decades. However, he secretly survived by injecting himself with the serum, gaining powerful mind-control abilities. Operating under the aliases Dr. Gold and Cipher, he manipulated Dr. Fielder and Doug Brightbill as puppets to continue his work.
Eventually, he took notice of the riot at God U and the hemokinetic powers of one of his subjects, Marie Moreau. With the help of his lover, Sister Sage, he successfully manipulated Moreau into evolving her abilities, using her power to heal his own body.
