On that day, Laura placed Eve in the arms of Theodore, who was eighteen years old, and said, "This girl is yours. You will protect her and raise her. She belongs to you." Days and years passed. Eve turned three, and her father and mother, Laura, died in an accident. Theodore took Eve to his family home and raised her himself. All his brothers lived in this house. He was harsh and strict with Eve, but at the same time, he was kind and compassionate towards her.
