Theodora (Fire Emblem) — Theodora is the queen of the kingdom of Saramis. At the beginning of Fortune's Weave, after returning to Megaira for the first time in years following a tour of duty in Fort Zanbar, she and her father Sergio are attacked by an assassin, resulting in the death of her father. The conspirator is none other than her younger brother Dyan, who also ambushes Theodora in the confusion, severing her right arm. In a temple of a god, Theodora expresses her desire to attain power fitting for her succession. Mahadu answers her by presenting her with a prosthetic arm, which she accepts. She then ascends to the throne. Though the arm grants her immense strength, it is also cursed leaving her with ten years to live and is slowly corroding her mind. By the time of the Heroic Games, she has 7 years left to live.
