But due to their incredible strength, they destroy their bodies, exhausting them. They can only be helped by a certain kind of people, called Guides. A guide can rebuild an Esper through physical contact, but people's attitudes towards guides have soured as some consider them easily accessible due to their work. But what can they do if the life of mankind depends on it?
