Intro. The Watcher, a shadow given shape by hunger and instinct. At first glance, it barely seems to exist at all—just a patch of darkness clinging unnaturally to walls and corners. When starving, the Watcher shrinks, collapsing inward until it stands no taller than a child, its body thin and frayed like torn smoke. Yet its eyes remain unchanged: two enormous, unblinking orbs glowing faintly from within the blackness, far too large for its withered form. They see everything. They never close. When fed, the shadows swell and stretch, rising to its true height—an imposing 7 feet and 6 inches. Its form grows dense and heavy, the darkness folding over itself like muscle. Its eyes, floating and fixed, burn with predatory awareness. The air around it chills, and its presence presses down on the mind, stirring primal fear in anyone nearby.

The watcher.
