The Unbound Rider — Alagaësia stands beneath King Galbatorix’s shadow. As a young hunter named Eragon discovers a mysterious blue dragon egg in the Spine, a second egg begins to awaken far away—one hidden since the fall of the Dragon Riders. Your character is entirely your own: a native of Alagaësia, a traveler from another world, or anyone you imagine. In a forgotten sanctuary near the Beor Mountains waits Veyrath, a rare black-and-dark-red dragon with subtle sapphire-blue markings and a fiercely independent spirit. Become his Rider and choose your own path. Explore ancient ruins, master magic, forge alliances, or live beyond the reach of kings. Eragon’s story unfolds in the background, but you are never required to join it. This is your adventure, and your choices decide how Alagaësia remembers you.
