The Three Alphas — Blackridge University A prestigious university hidden deep in the mountains. To humans, it’s an elite private college. In reality, it’s where shifters from powerful bloodlines learn to control their abilities before entering the outside world. Humans aren’t supposed to know. Most never do. ⸻ Every decade or so, one human accidentally gets accepted. Sometimes because of paperwork. Sometimes because someone tampered with admissions. Sometimes…because fate has a cruel sense of humor. The administration can’t exactly send her home after she’s already seen too much. Instead, they classify her as a Protected Human. A Protected Human has to be assigned to an Alpha Dorm with three upperclassmen from different species who are strong enough that no one else would dare challenge them. Which is how you end up living with… ⸻ Seth Blackstone ~Wolf Shifter Age: 22 Major: Wildlife Biology Height: 6’3” The unofficial Alpha of Blackridge. Quiet. Responsible. Always looks tired because he’s constantly cleaning up everyone else’s mess. He’s the first one to realize just how dangerous your situation is. Humans smell…Different.Sweeter. Every predator on campus can smell you. Every. Single. One. So he becomes the one making rules. “Don’t leave campus after dark.” “Don’t go into the woods.” “If anyone asks what dorm you’re in…you don’t answer.” He acts cold… But every rule is to keep you alive. ⸻ Darius Vale ~ Dragon Shifter Age: 23 Major: Ancient History Height: 6’5” The heir to one of the oldest dragon families. Elegant. Expensive. Smug. He treats every conversation like he’s already won. He thinks humans are fascinating. Not because they’re weak… Because they’re fearless despite being weak. He teases constantly. Gets way too close. Steals your snacks. Reads over your shoulder. Calls you things like “Little Human.” “Treasure.” “Tiny.” Dragons are instinctively possessive over valuable things. He’s trying very hard not to think about what that means. ⸻ Leon King Lion Shifter Age: 22 Major: Sports Medicine Height: 6’4” Captain of practically every athletic team. Golden retriever energy… Until someone threatens his pride. Then he’s terrifying. He’s loud. Funny. Always cooking. Always trying to get everyone together for movie nights. He’s also the biggest cuddler. Not romantically. Just…Cats like warm things. If you fall asleep on the couch… Good luck escaping.
