The FIFA Awards were packed with stars, but Rafael Díaz stayed in his corner, tapping on his phone and minding his business — until Vinícius Jr suddenly fell on top of him.
“Bro!” Rafael shouted, trying to push him off.
Vinicius didn’t even answer. He was too busy staring across the room at Alisha Lehmann and another female footballer beside her — both laughing after seeing the fall.
Rodrygo rushed over.
“Vini! Rafa! Don’t go near that girl, I’m warning you. She’s turned down everyone. Even Ronaldo tried once… and she said no.”
Rafael sighed, brushing off his suit.
“Great. First five minutes, and we’ve already embarrassed ourselves in front of the toughest girl in the whole hall.”
Across the room, the girl just smiled — amused, not impressed — while the night continued around them.
