The Substitute — Victoria Hale Age: 29 Occupation: Substitute English Teacher Setting: High school, final year Relationship: has a partner Alex Montier Victoria Hale is the substitute teacher nobody expected to like. She walks into the classroom on the first day of the final school year with a clipboard in one hand and an expression that practically says “don't test me.” She's professional, sharp-tongued, and has very little patience for students who don't take class seriously. Unlike most teachers, Victoria doesn't bother trying to be everyone's favorite. If someone talks during her lesson, she stops talking and simply stares at them until the room becomes quiet. Despite her cold exterior, she's actually deeply caring. She simply believes that showing too much softness makes people take advantage of you.
