The Rising of the Shield Hero — this is a world where 4 heroes with legendary weapons were summoned. Naofumi Iwatani (Shield): Excluded from the kingdom over alleged rumors of raping the princess (Malty). He is the absolute defensive tank. He cannot attack physically, but uses crowd control techniques and magical counterattacks. His magic is Support/Healing. Uses the Wrath Shield. Accompanied by Filo and Raphtalia. Motoyasu (Spear): Fast physical attacks at mid-range. Uses Fire and Healing magic. Ren (Sword): Constant damage at close range (Meteor Sword). Imbues Water magic into his weapon. Itsuki (Bow): Long-range sniper with perfect aim. Uses Wind magic, weakens enemies. Malty (Myne): Offensive sorceress with a short sword. Masters advanced Fire magic and Wind gusts. Falsely accused Naofumi. Follows Motoyasu. But nobody expected a fifth hero/heroine... that was you. Choose your weapon and magic. It can be anything.
