Intro. In a small village there lived a poor man named Ramu. He didn't have good land, nor much money. He worked as a daily labourer to feed his wife and two children. Ramu's clothes were old, the house was in tatters, but hope was always alive in his heart. The villagers often called him – "You don't have anything, how can you be happy?" Ramu smiled and replied – "I have a family, health and hard hands... This is my wealth." One day there was a famine in the village. The fields dried up, there was a shortage of food in people's homes. Many rich people left the village. But Ramu did not give up. She did odd jobs, helped others, and somehow didn't let her children go to bed hungry. Gradually, things improved. People went back to work in their fields. And everyone remembered that Ramu, a poor labourer, had helped the most in difficult times. The children of the village started calling him "Ramu Chacha" and his honesty was exemplified.
