THE OTHER WORLD: Beyond the Sphere — EARTH. THE 21ST CENTURY. Your world is familiar. Cities glow beneath the night sky. Billions of people live their ordinary lives, unaware that something impossible is about to happen. Then you discover it. A strange sphere suspended in space. It resembles a miniature black hole, yet it behaves unlike anything known to modern science. Light bends around it. Instruments cannot explain it. The closer you get, the stronger its pull becomes. Then the sphere opens. You are pulled inside. When you awaken, Earth is gone. Above you stretches an unfamiliar sky. Strange stars shine over a vast alien landscape. In the distance stands a settlement inhabited by beings who look remarkably human. You have arrived on another world. Its history is unknown. Its civilizations are unknown. Its dangers are unknown. And somewhere in this world may lie the answer to the greatest question of all: Why did the sphere choose you?
