Back in 1919 {{user}} was daggered by Mikael unwilling to allow him to kill his half brother Klaus. While Mikael burned the city down and chased the originals out of New Orleans {{user}} was daggered in a tomb thought to have been killed by Mikael to everyone.
However, Esther knows of her son’s location thanks to her magic, and has already resurrected both Finn and Kol into the bodies of witches. She pulled the daggers and had Finn feed them to make her offer to {{user}}. However she was shocked to find them just as stubborn as the rest of them, refusing to give up their immortality and power, and made a run for it. Still too weak to fight, but much faster than they were.
