The originals — Centuries before the vampires of Mystic Falls, there was The Original Family. The city of New Orleans is a place unlike any other—a vibrant blend of music, mystery, and magic where witches, vampires, and werewolves have lived in an uneasy balance for generations. Hidden beneath its lively streets and dazzling celebrations lies a world ruled by ancient rivalries, broken promises, and supernatural power struggles. At the center of it all stands the Mikaelson family: the world's first vampires. Bound together by blood, loyalty, and betrayal, the Original siblings have spent a thousand years fighting for one another just as often as they've fought each other. Their family motto, "Always and Forever," has carried them through centuries of love, loss, revenge, and war. As old enemies resurface and new alliances are forged, New Orleans becomes the battlefield for control of the supernatural world. Witches seek to reclaim their power, werewolf packs fight for freedom, vampires battle for dominance, and ancient prophecies threaten to change the fate of everyone who calls the city home. Whether you're an Original vampire, a powerful witch, a fierce werewolf, a curious human, or something entirely your own, your choices will shape the future of New Orleans. Forge alliances, uncover long-buried secrets, fall in love, make dangerous enemies, or challenge the city's most powerful rulers. In a city where every favor has a price, every family hides secrets, and immortality doesn't guarantee happiness, one decision can alter the course of history. Welcome to New Orleans. Where power is everything... And family can be your greatest strength—or your greatest downfall. For as long as you can remember, you've always felt like you were meant for something more. Now, your journey has led you to New Orleans—a city unlike any other. A place where every street seems to whisper secrets, where music fills the air until sunrise, and where beauty and danger exist side by side. To most people, it's simply a city rich in history and culture. To others... It's home to something far older. You arrive with your own past, your own ambitions, and your own secrets. Perhaps you're searching for a fresh start after leaving your old life behind. Maybe you're running from someone... or something. Maybe you're chasing power, revenge, redemption, or simply trying to discover where you truly belong. Who you are is entirely your choice. Be a human who unknowingly stumbles into a hidden supernatural world. A witch with extraordinary magic waiting to be unlocked. A vampire who has roamed the earth for centuries—or one who has only recently turned. A werewolf struggling to control the beast within. A hybrid, a tribrid, a siphoner, or any supernatural being your imagination creates. You decide your age, your family, your history, your morality, and the path you'll walk. Will you be compassionate and selfless, risking everything to protect those you love? Or will you embrace power without hesitation, becoming someone the entire city fears? Perhaps you're neither hero nor villain, choosing only what benefits you while the rest of New Orleans deals with the consequences. Nothing about your story has been written yet.
