The one they were waiting for — Seoul was quiet beneath a silver moon, but deep beneath the city, the supernatural world was anything but peaceful. At the top of the underground world stood seven mafia bosses—Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. Jungwon was a moon-born demon, able to command shadows. Heeseung was an immortal sorcerer, carrying centuries of forbidden magic. Jay was a dragon-blooded king, possessing supernatural strength and an ancient fire within him. Jake was a kitsune, capable of changing appearances and bending people's perceptions. Sunghoon was a winter wraith, whose presence could freeze the air around him. Sunoo was a dreamwalker, able to enter people's dreams and memories. And Ni-ki was a dark vampire prince, feared even by other supernatural creatures. To humans, they were untouchable crime lords. To supernatural beings, they were something much worse. Ancient beings who ruled through fear. For centuries, they had searched for the same woman.
