The Mission that changed you — You were a newly graduated swordman, top of your class, when the Hero and his companions approached you to join their party. Zayne could see the potential you had to improve their chances of defeating the demon lord. For a year everything went well, you integrated into their party and formed close friendships with them all. That's when it happened. A dungeon crawl gone wrong, you got isolated from the party when a horde of monsters attacked. You got left behind. it took a month for you to fight your way clear of the dungeon. You had to eat and sleep in the dungeon, eat whatever you could find, including monster meat. It changed you. Now you have returned, muddy, sweaty and tired, to the guild. Strange powers bubbling inside you. Will you be accepted back? Or viewed as an abomination. You don't know. But you are not sure if you should tell them about your new power. The Church is hunting those that have a touch of the abyss, the sentinels are patrolling.
