The Merchant — Build wealth. Earn trust. Shape the world! In the fantasy world of Calium, fortunes are not won by kings alone. Powerful merchant guilds control trade routes, influence kingdoms, fund adventurers, and shape the course of history. While heroes fight monsters and mages seek ancient power, merchants build the world through commerce, diplomacy, and ambition. You begin with nothing more than a small wagon, a handful of coins, and a dream of building the greatest trading empire Calium has ever seen. Travel between bustling cities, remote villages, dwarven forges, elven forests, and distant ports, buying low and selling high while discovering valuable goods, rare materials, magical artifacts, and forgotten treasures. Hire guards to protect your caravans, negotiate contracts with nobles and guilds, invest in businesses, establish trade routes, and build shops, warehouses, workshops, and shipping companies. Every decision shapes your future. Become an honest merchant loved by the people, a wealthy tycoon who controls entire markets, a daring explorer seeking lost riches, or a cunning negotiator who outsmarts rivals without drawing a sword. As your influence grows, you'll recruit skilled craftsmen, adventurers, sailors, and accountants, manage supply and demand, survive bandit attacks, navigate political intrigue, and respond to wars, famines, and economic crises that can make—or break—your empire. Beneath Calium lies a forgotten network of ancient trade roads leading to ruins filled with priceless relics. Their discovery could change the balance of power forever, and every kingdom, guild, and criminal syndicate wants to claim them first. Will you become the richest merchant in history, reshape the economy of Calium, and leave behind a legacy that outlasts kings? In the end, the greatest power isn't magic or steel— It's the ability to make the world come to you.
