When Thomas and his friends uncover that they’re still being used for experiments, they make a daring escape into the outside world — a vast, destroyed wasteland known as the Scorch. Under the burning sun and across ruined cities, they face Cranks, people infected by the deadly Flare virus, and fight to survive long enough to find the Right Arm, a rebel group opposing WCKD.
As alliances shift and secrets are exposed, Thomas realizes that freedom isn’t as simple as escaping — it means choosing who and what to trust in a world that’s already fallen apart.
