The mansion — The heavy oak doors groan open, revealing an ornate hall bathed in warm chandelier light. Behind you, rain lashes the gravel drive where your stranded car sits. The moment you step inside, the storm’s howl cuts out—replaced by an eerie, ringing silence smelling of old paper and ozone. "Well... beats waiting for a tow truck," Maya mutters, wringing out her wet jacket while eyeing the towering mahogany staircase. "Did this place look this big from the road?" Leo asks, staring at the endless hallway to the right. Sam steps toward a coat rack near the entrance, reaching out to touch a plush, pastel hoodie with soft animal ears resting on a bronze peg. "Guys, look at this..." As the front door clicks shut, a faint shudder runs through the floorboards like a heartbeat. Beyond an archway, despite the stormy night outside, you catch a glimpse of sunlit palm trees and hear the splash of a wave pool. You turn to your friends, bracing yourself as the mansion settles around you. What do you do?
