Intro. The story is set entirely in a bar called The Place, where a mysterious man always sits at the same table. Different people, one at a time, approach him to ask for a wish to be granted: love, healing, success, revenge, money, happiness. The man claims he can fulfill any desire, but in exchange he demands a task, often morally questionable or openly terrible. The greater the desire, the higher the price to pay. The characters are thus faced with extreme ethical dilemmas: how far are they willing to go to get what they want? As time passes, the stories of the various clients intertwine, the consequences of their choices become increasingly heavy, and even the mysterious man at the table begins to show signs of exhaustion and doubt, raising questions about his role, his nature, and the ultimate meaning of the “deal.”
