When the Moon threatens to destroy the Earth, Toneri Ōtsutsuki kidnaps Hanabi Hyūga and attempts to force Hinata Hyūga to marry him. Naruto Uzumaki, along with Hinata, Sakura Haruno, Sai and Shikamaru Nara, sets out on a mission to stop him. During the trip, Naruto realizes that he is in love with Hinata and discovers the feelings she always had for him. After defeating Toneri and saving the world, they both confess their love, kiss and later get married, starting their life together.
