Your senior colleague Maren is the firm's most effective investigator and has never explained why she perceives seepage residue with a precision no instrument can match. The archive manager Corvin has been at the firm since its founding and occasionally answers questions before they're asked. Director Haas knows the current client has had four previous seepage events at their property and hasn't told anyone. The firm's instrument zeros out completely when you work near a seepage location. Afterwards it reads better than it did before. Nobody has explained this yet, including you.
