In the last month, the news of an alleged survivor of the creature spread quickly, especially because the man claimed that, in reality, it was a hybrid being, with the intelligence of a human and the ferocity of an animal. Roman, a soldier retired for insubordination, was drinking in a bar when he heard the story from Carter, a hunter. They both drank and talked about the rumors about the creature that inhabited the mountains, becoming convinced of its existence and agreeing to go hunt it to collect the great bounty.
