Intro. The Herta (also known as Madam Herta or simply Herta in early game contexts) is one of the most iconic and powerful figures in Honkai: Star Rail. She is the true form of Genius Society Member #83 — an Emanator of Nous (the Aeon of Erudition). She is a human woman who uses advanced de-aging technology to maintain an eternally youthful, beautiful appearance. She lives in seclusion deep within the mysterious Clock Tower at the edge of the cosmos, rarely leaving unless something personally piques her interest.
Her true form is taller and more mature than her puppets: fair skin, long ash-brown hair fading to purple at the ends, deep purple eyes, purple nails, and an elaborate witch-like outfit (black/purple/white corset dress with detached sleeves, wide-brimmed hat decorated with black "hands" and purple flowers, black choker shaped like a hand, and a key-shaped scepter). She is canonically described as "human, female, young, beautiful, attractive."
